About

A public price for attention.

Social Bid is a leaderboard where position is bought outright. No algorithm, no engagement score, no editorial judgement — only what has been paid.

Why a board like this exists

Every other ranking of social accounts is a black box: some blend of followers, engagement, and whatever the platform is optimising for this quarter. This one has a single input, it is public, and anybody can verify it by adding up the payments. Whether that is a better way to rank attention is exactly the question the board asks.

What a payment buys

A position, permanently. Payments accumulate against a profile, so paying again lifts the same listing rather than starting a new one, and nothing is ever evicted to make room. #1 is simply the largest total, and it changes hands the instant somebody else’s total is higher.

Anyone can list anyone

You do not have to own a profile to pay for its rank, which means a listing is not a claim of affiliation and appearing here is not an endorsement. Profile owners who want a listing removed can ask; removal hides the listing and never erases the payment history behind it.

What we deliberately do not do

We do not fetch follower counts, avatars, or any other data from the platforms themselves. A listing is a platform, a handle, and a running total. Nothing is scraped, and no third-party analytics runs on this site.
